Meet Our Kids
Friendship is an important part of a child’s social‐emotional development. From our friends we learn to share, to listen, and to express our feelings. But most importantly, our friends give us a sense of belonging. Read about some amazing friendships that have been developed through The Friendship Foundation and by the support of the SKECHERS Friendship Walk.

Jackson & Brandon
I originally wanted to volunteer with Friendship Foundation because my sister participated in their programs. I attended my first event in 6th grade; I came to their center for movie night and have loved volunteering for Friendship Foundation ever since. My favorite program is Friendship Camp during the summer because you spend the week being care-free, getting to know your buddy and playing water games. Volunteering for the Friendship Foundation has opened me up to new people and experiences. My friendship with Brandon started in a small way, with conversations after Friendship Camp as we both waited for our parents to pick us up. In that short time, we discovered that we had so much in common from our favorite TV shows, YouTubers, and music artists. I’m excited to catch up with Brandon at this year’s summer camp! -Jackson
