2021 Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk

Team Lincoln (RBUSD)

Our Story

Join the many Lincoln Lions who already registered. Pier-to-Pier Skechers Walk is a community event to support children with special needs and local public schools. It is also a direct fundraiser to Lincoln Elementary.

If 300 walkers register to Team Lincoln, the students will get an extra recess. And If 400 walkers register to the Team Lincoln, I will submit myself to a Student Vote Challenge, where the challenge is chosen and voted on by students!

Here are some of the latest ridiculous suggestions I have received from our students:

  • Sleep on the school roof.
  • Walk around blindfolded for a day.
  • Dress up like a polar bear and run around the Lincoln neighborhoods.
  • Be tackled by an NFL football player.
  • "Come play video games at my house."

The Pier-to-Pier Fundraiser for schools is participant-based. The more participants who register ($30 entry fee), the more dollars raised directly for our school. Over the years, Lincoln Elementary has been using the Skechers Walk money to purchase instructional materials, fountains, buddy benches, upgrade audio and video equipment and other supports that benefit the classroom.

Be sure to register as many walkers as you can...every walker counts! Register each member of your family, register grandma, register your dog, and your neighbor's dog. They all count! Can't make the event? NO PROBLEM! Be a virtual walker and register anyway.

See you on Sunday, October 24th!
